How to tell whether it is real pearl or not.

1,The real one feel colder in your hands than the fake one.

2, Imitation pearls are too perfect—they have the same amount of luster on every part of the surface, and no indents of slight imperfections. Real pearls will always have some slight imperfection—you just have to look closely to see it. While you may picture pearls as perfectly round, they actually form in many shapes. If all of your pearls are perfectly round or the exact same shape, they are imitations.

3,Rub the pearls against each other .Real pearls will have a bit of friction when rubbed together (meaning you’ll feel some resistance when you rub the pearls together), as nacre is not perfectly smooth. Nacre layers, when rubbed together, will also leave a powdery residue behind.
