60" Industrial Light I-Beam Kitchen Island Light

There’s no doubt about it, extraordinary lighting is what makes a room. You can talk about cabinets, furniture, or other types of decor in any room, but when people see impressive lights they’ve never seen before, their jaws drop to the floor.

Hand-made in our small town of Vermilion, Ohio, each detail of our custom I-Beam Industrial Light is painstakingly finished resulting in a masterpiece that’s loaded with imperfections. Simply put, we love character, and we don’t like things that look as though they came off an assembly line.

We know you don’t either.

Back in the day, they used to build things to last. But as you know, plastic has become the choice of manufacturing because it’s lighter and cheaper. And robots and assembly lines have been the preferred way of manufacturing because it’s faster and cheaper.

We disagree on both things when it comes to lighting.

We don’t like plastic or mass-produced products; we like metal and hand-built products. If you agree, you’re going to love this light. Matter of fact, all of our clients do. They’ve hung them over kitchen islands, pool tables, bars, coffee shops, restaurants, conference room tables…you name it.

Almost all the pieces that go into the assembly of this stunning piece were designed and created in our shop. We build unique lights, and this is simply one of our best. With beautiful, raised lettering details, our custom-made trolley brackets allow the lights to move back and forth on our 3” cast wheels. The metal shades take any standard bulb up to 100W.

Hanging hardware is included and we offer a variety of ways to mount it to your ceiling and can offer suggestions. We can include a few of our patented industrial ceiling canopies, a cast aluminum plate, or hooks to hang it from. We’ll contact you after you place the order to discuss your possibilities.

This listing is for our 60" size. The pictures include all different sizes. This industrial piece is available in four (4) different sizes to fit just about any location. We can make it in 36", 48", 60”, or 72” lengths.

We can even make a smaller matching pendant that is 14” if desired. Custom sizes may be available on special request. Contact us with your needs and/or questions and we can talk about it.

Once a purchase is made, we forward you a link to our Buyer's Questionnaire so that we can find out what finish you want, ceiling height, custom number, etc. But if you have any questions before you purchase, please reach out to us.

This is a custom light made to order. The current lead time is approximately 6-8 weeks so that we can create an incredible piece for you. Thank you for your patience as we know you’ll love it for a lifetime. If for some reason you can’t wait that long, contact us for a possible rush order and we’ll check our shop schedule (rush orders may incur an additional cost). There are stenciled numbers on a few of the pictures. Numbers are not standard on the light.

We include 2-conductor black cloth-covered wire used in the assembly of the light. If you prefer 3-conductor wire (w/ ground), please let us know.

Please keep in mind this light is loaded with imperfections. We distress it, scratch it, take some paint off, etc. We do this purposely to create a character that is not found in the Chinese lights you find on the shelves. This creates a further industrial "worn" look that that can't be duplicated. One of the pictures shows a close-up of distressing. No two are the same.
