How do I download files from my order?

You will receive an email with a link. The file you download is a zip file and the working files need to be extracted.

I can’t find my download notification email

First, check your spam or junk inbox. If you use Gmail, also check your Social and Promotions tabs. If it’s not there, adding transaction@etsy.com to your address book or safe list can help you locate these emails in the future.

Where can I find my digital purchases in my account?

To access your digital files from your account: Sign in to Etsy.com and go to Your account. Go to Purchases and reviews. Next to the order, select Download Files. This goes to the Downloads page for all the files attached to your order. You can also go back to the item’s listing page, where you should see an “Instant Download" message on the images for the item.

Can blanks be resized?

Yes, If you want to make the blank larger or smaller you can scale the size in your slicer software. Please keep in mind if you do it should be proportional or the designs can be distorted. If you do resize the blank, It is recommended not to resize more than 10% max, resizing could also impact the way the design turns out. Smaller sizes may produce areas that cannot be filled with resin easily.

What type of 3D printer can I print these with?

All of the files on our site have been printed for proof of concept with SLA printers. You can also use Filament printers to print these designs. You will need to determine which Filament is right for your application and the two processes will yield the same end result for the design. Keep in mind that Filament printers follow a path while SLA prints a complete layer at once so it can impact the time it takes to complete your print.

This product is only a STL file for someone who wants to print their own 3D Pen Blank Molds. A great option for someone who wants Pen Blanks and does not have a mold. Print the file on any 3D printer and fill with resin to make unique Pen Blanks with any color resin you choose. The printed design is a self containing mold that simplifies the resin casting process. Details to resin casting have been considered in our designs so that the design can be completely filled. Note that some designs with fine detail should have resin poured as soon as possible while thin enough to fill small gaps. Larger design areas can be color separated or blend colors when the resin starts to set for marbling without complete blending of all the colors.

The design has been printed using an Elegoo Saturn or Mars 2 pro with standard MSLA resins of various colors. Then poured to verify the design works for casting. Actual products we sell using this design can be found in our other Etsy shop. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Living4YouBoutique
