This unique wooden bowl is made from Camphor wood and and shows of the gorgeous wood grain of camphor from the lines and swirls to the colorful knots that can be found in the wood. This bowl will make great rustic home decor or even a potpourri bowl. To make this bowl, I hand turned it on the lathe and finished it with wax. It is NOT food safe but it makes great home decor or as a bowl for keepsakes. This is a piece of wooden decor that will attract attention and start conversations.

The opening of the bowl is approximately 2 inches wide and the full bowl is about 5 inches wide.

Camphor is a brown-gray wood with a strong grain pattern in lighter and darker browns and grays. This particular piece of wood also featured a knot that showed up as a red-brown and two other dark brown knots in the wood. This bowl is turned from a single block of wood. At any angle, this is a gorgeous wooden bowl.
