Why doesn’t my GripShield fit?

Our GripShields are designed with a “snap fit”. There is a small lip on the rounded end that MUST be clipped under the sensor before snapping the narrow, square end in place.

What Overlay patches work with the GripShield?

Most WOVEN type patches are compatible with the GripShield without modification. Plastic type patches (like the free Dexcom Patches) may require a little trimming to fit around our GripShield. Please note: not all overlay patches have the same holding power.

What is the best way to clean the patch adhesive off the GripShield?

We recommend using a gentle solvent like Unisolve or Medical Goo-Gone. The Shield can be wiped down or submerged for 60 seconds and then cleaned off.

What does a GripShield actually do?

We designed our GripShield to achieve 3 main goals. To Grip your diabetic device, providing protection against accidental bumps or dislodgement. To Shield your diabetic device from the Overlay patch adhesive which allows the overlay patch to be changed mid-cycle without accidentally removing your device. To add a fun splash of color to your “robot” parts-because we want you to be excited to show off those amazing, life-saving devices.

What angle can I hang the HangTite?

The Hangtite can hang at least two different ways: vertical or horizontal.

Is the HangTite easy to install and remove if needed?

Yes! Simply peel the 3M film off the back of the HangTite and place in the spot you'd like to hang it! To remove, take a sharp non-metallic tool to assist in prying HangTite away from refrigerator wall. You will than need to use warm soapy water or we recommend an adhesive remover such as Goo-Gone to assist in removing the tape residue.

What brands of insulin pens will fit into the HangTite?

The HangTite insulin pen holder will securely hold many various brands and sizes of insulin pens. It will also hold other medicinal injection pens such as those for allergies and weight loss. Contact us if you need assistance in determining if your pens will fit.
