Bandanas: Wash and dry normal cycle. If it has text or a vinyl design - DO NOT iron directly on the vinyl.
Fabric Collars: Wash and dry, normal cycle, spot treat stains.
Cowhide Collars: Wipe with a damp cloth.
Tumbler Toppers: Wash with mild detergent. Do not soak in water or wash in the dishwasher.

We ship through Etsy with USPS First-Class Mail unless you upgrade to USPS Priority Mail. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.

Double-check your mailing address BEFORE placing your order. We use the shipping address you have provided on Etsy. We WILL NOT change the shipping address. If you ask to have your address changed, your order will be canceled, and refunded and you will need to place a new order with the correct address.

If your package is returned to us from the shipping carrier you are responsible to the new shipping cost to reship the package to you.

Although Dacus Doodle collars are adorable and durable, they do not replace a harness.

When a dog tugs on a collar it can weaken it and eventually can cause damage or brake the collar. Collars can cause back pain or damage a dog's throat, especially if the dog tends to pull a lot while walking.
A collar does not replace a harness for daily walks. Our collars are perfect for everyday use however we do not recommend them for overly aggressive dogs.

We get it dogs chew on things! It happens to all of us at some point.
We can not replace a product because your dog chewed on it.

Fabric: We cut from a bolt of fabric. This means each collar pattern placement will vary.

Cowhide: We cut from a whole cowhide. This means each collar pattern placement will vary.

Your collar will be one of a kind and will not look exactly like the collars pictured.

We do our best to ensure that our photos are as true to color as possible. However, due to inconsistencies of various monitors, lighting sources, digital photography, and dye lot variations, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen accurately portrays the true color of the product.

Will metal hardware discolor or tarnish?

Yes - The metal is plated with the colors (rose gold, gold, silver,black) and some wear and scratching is expected.
As with any metal, it will begin to tarnish or rust if exposed to prolonged wear.
Buckle size and shape can vary slightly.

Cowhide -

Because the cowhide we use is authentic it is normal for some hair or metallic color to rub off. This does not affect the quality of the cowhide.

Switching hardware is an additional cost.

We provide a picture of the fonts we offer in each listing font letters and styles vary. I send a proof of your pet's name before finishing your custom collar or bandana. It is important for you to check the spelling and approve the name proof.
If you do not approve your proof, your order will still ship on your ship date.
If you do not approve your name proof, we are not responsible if something is misspelled.
Personalization background color will vary due to fabric/cowhide placement.
You will be able to see the back of the embroidery on our fabric collars, no worries this will not cause any irritation for your pet.
Bandanas are personalized with vinyl using our commercial vinyl press.

Each product is custom-made to order - we do not offer refunds or exchanges at this time - unless the mistake is ours. If you have questions please ask before placing your order.

The size of the name depends on the collar size.

The name and phone number will be on one line.

1-inch collar the name will be about 3/4 inches tall
3/4 inch collar the name will be about 1/2 inch tall

Adding a phone number will make the embroidery length longer on the collar.
