This is a beautiful antique leather covered perfume casket with brass mounts. It measures approximately 11.5 x 9.5 x 7.5 cm. It has an ornate brass plate on the lid with a finger loop and a matching escutcheon. It also has a key and although the key works the lock, the lock doesn't engage when the lid is closed. It probably needs a bit of tinkering. The lid is hinged and opens to reveal a blue silk lining and blue velvet fitted section for the two bottles inside. The bottles are of slightly different sizes, one just a bit bigger than the other. They both have their original stoppers and are in overall good antique condition. The casket looks to have had a repair to the leather on the back right of the lid that you can see in photo 8. It has looks to have been given replacement hinges as their a silver tone metal rather than matching the rest of the brass. For its age though it's still looking wonderful! A lovely antique perfume bottle case.

I'm now using eco-friendly packaging for all orders including biodegradable brown craft paper tape, biodegradable bubble wrap and void fill packing chips and, where possible, reused boxes. The only thing I've not yet been able to find is eco-friendly clear tape used for attaching shipping labels, so if you're aware of any such thing please let me know where I can find it. I'd love to be able to offer 100% eco-friendly packaging!
