Return and Refund Policy

If you wish to return a product, you may do so within 21 days, provided it is unused and in its original, undamaged condition. We recommend a tracked, insured return service. You are responsible for returning the package safely. Once we receive it in good condition, we will process your refund (excluding shipping costs, which may be adjusted for any return-related expenses). Please note: our products are handmade to order. Natural variation in wood grain and tone, leather texture, metal finish, or 3D-print layer texture is normal for handcrafted items and is not a defect or an "item not as described" issue. If you have any concern, please message us first - we are a small workshop and will always work with you on a fair solution.

Please ensure your shipping address and phone number are correct to avoid any delivery issues. If incorrect information causes a problem, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. We recommend tracking your delivery and making sure someone is available to receive the package at the scheduled time. The responsibility for providing a secure drop-off location lies with the buyer. If you notice any concerns, please send us a message so we can investigate with the shipping company. Package updates might not appear immediately on ETSY, so we suggest tracking your order via the carrier's website. If you have any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us directly.

Custom and personalized orders

Wooden Products:We recommend against washing our wooden products in a dishwasher, as this can cause damage over time. To maintain their appearance and longevity, regularly apply natural oils like wood oil or olive oil. Simply use a small amount with a cloth to keep the wood nourished. Metal Products:Similarly, do not wash metal items in the dishwasher. Clean them by hand with a sponge and warm water to ensure they remain in great condition without risk of damage. 3D-Printed Products:For 3D-printed items, clean them with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid washing these products in water to prevent any potential damage. By following these care instructions, you can ensure that your products remain beautiful and functional for years to come.

Customs & import taxes

United States: All orders ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) - duties and taxes are prepaid by us, so you pay no extra fees on arrival; the checkout price is final. UK & EU: When tax is collected through Etsy at checkout (e.g. via our IOSS number), it is already paid and reported to the carrier, so you won't pay again. Under EU rules, VAT is collected via Etsy only on orders up to 150 EUR; for orders above 150 EUR tax is not collected at checkout, and any import duties are paid by the buyer to the carrier or customs on delivery. For all other cases, where taxes are not prepaid through Etsy, any customs duties or import fees on arrival are the buyer's responsibility and are set by the destination country's customs authority.

Every Papel Espresso item is handmade to order, so each piece is a little different - and that is exactly what makes yours unique. Natural materials and handcrafting mean the wood grain and tone, leather texture, metal finish, or fine 3D-print layer texture can vary slightly from one piece to another and from the photos, which show representative examples. These small natural differences are part of the character of a handmade product and are not considered defects.
