My name is Jakub Kicman. Together with parents - Anna and Rajmund - we have been dealing with ceramics by passion for over 30 years. Our work refers to the old traditions of folk pottery, which in addition to the products necessary on the farm offered figural art - images of saints, chapels, stoups, as well as figurines corresponding to Polish festivals and customs - nativity scenes, carolers, angels, lambs and animal figurines and birds - whistles as toys for children.

The process of creating our products takes about two weeks. After manual build from clay and few days drying, it firing twice – first time: on biscuit (950°C /1742°F/) and second time: after applying the appropriate glaze (between 1020 – 1060°C /1868-1940°F/). Some of our products are decorated with gold for ceramics and firing for the third time in 700°C (1292°F).

We belong to the Association of Folk Artists.
