 “Fa-udh'kurūnī adhkur'kum” is a phrase which means “So remember Me; I will remember you. (And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.)” It is from the Holy Qur’an, Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Verse 152.

Painting comes with hanging hardware and is sealed with archival gloss top coat.

This new series of work features organic high flow acrylic backgrounds, with dimensional Arabic calligraphy echoing sentiments of healing and hope. I made these paintings in five nights and six days, the same amount of time I was recently in the hospital with my son, who was diagnosed with a neurological disorder. As we navigate this new road towards recovery, I found healing in the making of these paintings, sometimes echoing the sentiments of protection, or the womb, motherhood, and the myriad of challenges it presents us with. In the divine remembrance then, is the ultimate healing.
