Rider Waite Smith Tarot - Limited Edition in Wooden Box

2022 Silver Cat Editions

78 cards + booklet

The original and only authorized edition of the famous 78-card Tarot deck designed by Pamela Colman Smith under the direction of Arthur Edward Wait.

In 1909 artist Pamela Colman Smith, under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite, created an innovative 78-card Tarot deck that would be recognized as revolutionary, the benchmark for later published decks.

Rider Waite Tarot is the most popular and appreciated deck in the world. It is one of the greatest synthesis of western magism: the work in which Christian mysticism merges with the Jewish Kabbalah, with Alchemy and Eastern philosophies.

Behind the fascinating images we can glimpse the project of Waite, the eminent scholar who with his works has profoundly marked the Anglo-Saxon occult world: "There is a secret tradition regarding tarot cards, just as there is a Secret Doctrine inside them I have followed a part of it according to the limits established for subjects of this kind and according to the laws of honor".
