It's Christmas Eve. You go outside to search the sky for Rudolph's red nose... what you see instead is a stately procession of glittering celestial whales. This beautiful pod was inspired by Lisa Simpson's dream of the beached whale. They range in size from 3.5" to 4" wide, approximately 2" to 2.25" tall. They are designed and hand stitched by me using felt and embroidery thread, with satin ribbon for hanging, seed bead eyes, and are lightly stuffed. All the white felt on this set is glitter felt, subtly reflecting metallic greens and blues--sorry it doesn't show up well in the photos, but can be seen well in person. Each ornament will also include a swirly hook for the tree.
