I made an error with my shipping address. How can this be resolved?

If you realize you've given the wrong shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible. If your package hasn't been shipped yet, we can adjust the address in our system and ensure it's sent to the correct location. However, if the package is already on its way, we're unable to redirect it. Once the package returns to us, we can reship it to the correct address. Please note that any reshipment would require you to cover the associated shipping costs.

Can you guarantee delivery times?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. Once packages are with the mail carriers, delivery times are out of our control. If a package is marked as delivered but you haven't received it, please check with neighbors, mail rooms, and your local post office. It's essential to ensure your address is USPS verified during checkout, as we aren't liable for lost packages sent to unverified addresses.

Custom and personalized orders

Orders are dispatched via Canada Post for Canadian recipients and USPS for the USA. Please understand that these are third-party carriers responsible for shipping and delivery, and any issues during this phase are under their purview.

Is my package trackable?

Absolutely! Every order dispatched from our shop is eligible for standard tracking. If you'd like additional security with insurance or signature confirmation, inform us before completing your purchase. These additional features come at an extra cost, which we can detail upon request.

What if my package gets lost or is stolen during transit?

In the unfortunate event of delivery issues, please contact us promptly. Although we aren't directly responsible for packages lost or stolen, we'll do our best to assist. We can file a service ticket with the relevant shipping carrier 10 days after the shipment date. For efficient resolution, we'll need a phone number where the carrier can confirm non-receipt with you or a representative.

What aspects of my order are directly under your shop's control?

We prioritize prompt order processing and timely dispatch. Moreover, we're dedicated to answering all your inquiries promptly. However, it's essential to note that while we oversee your order's dispatch, we don't control delivery, delays, or lost packages. These aspects are managed by third-party carriers.

What happens if the recipient is not located or the package goes unclaimed?

If a package is undeliverable due to the recipient not being located or it remains unclaimed, it will typically be returned to us by the shipping provider. Once the package is received back at our facility, we can arrange for it to be reshipped to you or another specified address. Please be aware that reshipment would require you to cover the associated shipping costs.

Will U.S. buyers be charged customs duties or import fees on delivery?

No. For orders shipped to the United States, ThePencilBoutiqueCo handles applicable customs documentation and related charges where required. U.S. buyers should not be charged customs duties, import fees, tariffs, or carrier collection fees on delivery. For orders shipped outside Canada and the United States, buyers may be responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees required by their country.
