Here are some cool vintage calendar towels and souvenir world travel towels in wonderful condition!! I recently saw that a woman had made one into the front of a dress and overalls. So cute!! Vintage Calendar kitchen Towels 1969, 1986, 1989, 1992, 1994, 1998 and 1990’s teddy souvenir linen towels world travel Tasmania

1969: heavy cotton flour sack towel features a golden yellow and brown ranch style home and vibrant red and green trees and flower garden landscaping. The towel says “Bless this house Oh Lord we pray, Make it safe—By night and day. Large 28”x17”. This would make an excellent housewarming gift! $34.99

1986: this is a nice cotton towel that says an apple a day and has two big red apples with avocado green leaves a bunch of grapes and some cherries. With a green border. $22.99

1989: here is a beautiful woodland bird scene around the calendar with very colorful flowers and ferns and mushrooms and blackberries queen and lace flowers and some kind of red berries and pine trees. $24.99.

1992: this nice cotton towel features a fruit basket with apples, purple, grapes, a pineapple, and an orange. The border is grape vines with purple grapes. $24.99

1994: this is my most vibrant towel. It is on white cotton with very bright flowers in red, yellow, goldenrod, indigo, blue, a little bit of black, Kelly Green and the calendar is on yellow $24.99.

1998: this pretty town features a teddy bear with a maroon polkadot bow around his neck, reaching into a jar of honey. The towel says honey at the top and bottom and has little honeybees all around the bear. $22.99.



Chef Teddy: not a calendar towel is 1990’s plush cotton featuring a teddy bear chef with a honey pot in excellent condition. Country blue, beige and a little cranberry are the colors. 25”x14.5” $8.99

What can I say? I love to shop! I am always on the hunt for great vintage items that I know others would love to have. I have always loved to go to yard sales, estate sales, and auctions. Even when I was very young I did these things with my mother. I watched many live auctions in my day, and I have become pretty knowledgeable about the value of antiques and collectibles. I know that nowadays there are a lot of people like me who enjoy seeing and using once loved things and although antiques are not as popular anymore as they once were, I know that vintage items are. I have made it my mission to find some of these things that I love to put out for the world to see and maybe fall in love with the way that I have. I have a special soft spot for vintage linens like blankets, Sheets, curtains, towels, and vintage fabric. But occasionally other items like glassware or dishes will catch my eye.

My mother makes quilts and I make rugs from everything that she cannot use in a quilt. Some things that I find to use in my rugs are just way too nice and way too pretty to cut up. That’s how I got started selling some of the things that I found on my Etsy store. The quality of vintage linens is what draws me to it. Also the fact that I find things that I have never seen before and are so unusual and unique or have a spectacular pattern or feel that it keeps me
searching for more! It is nice to have something well made that not everyone else has.
