Raw brass: raw brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. My brass is not plated, and therefore will develop a natural patina over time. However, you can maintain the shine of the brass by keeping it dry and/or and cleaning it. I recommend a sunshine cleaning cloth, available on Amazon.

Chains: Most of my chains are thin and dainty. Take care not to get your chain caught on anything

Porcelain: porcelain is a hard and durable ceramic material, but it can break. Please be careful not to drop or apply pressure to your porcelain pieces.

It depends on your allergy. My posts are all made from stainless steel, and my hardware is raw brass. Pieces that have wire fired into the clay do contain nickel, but it does not come in contact with the skin.

Gold Luster: The 22k gold luster is fired on, but it is a thin layer of real gold. Exposure to heat, moisture, and/or friction can cause the gold to wear off over time.

Stud Earrings: Always pull earrings backs directly off the post and not at angle. This will ensure that pressure is not applied to the point of attachment, causing the metal post to break off the porcelain. Should this happen, it can re-glued with a flexible glue, such as clear gorilla glue. However, I will repair it free of charge provided you pay shipping charges. All orders are wrapped in tissue and come in a gift box. If you are ordering multiple items, they may arrive in one box. You can add gift wrap for an additional charge. If you need individual boxes for each item in a single order, please purchase gift wrap and leave a note during check-out specifying how many boxes you need. All gift messages will be hand written on a lovely card.

For comparison, my square earring cards measure 3"x3" and my small rectangle earring cards measure 1.5" x 2". If this size reference is not adequate and you need specific measurements of a piece, please contact me directly.

International orders can experience delays for a variety of reasons. They have been known to take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months to arrive. I cannot accept responsibility for undelivered International orders.

The cost of shipping and a 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns. A variation in the glaze pattern or color from the listing photo does NOT constitute a defect, as variations are natural in ceramics works. Please do not order from my shop if you expect handmade items to have factory-like consistency.
