Greetings Cards (Pack of 4) Underwater Seaside Art. Blank Nautical Birthday Cards - Whale, Octopus, Jellyfish, Turtle. Watercolour Paintings

Seaside greetings cards featuring high quality printed photographs of my original underwater watercolour beach art collages.

This set of 4 cards feature glorious watercolour paintings with a whale, octopus, jellyfish and a cute turtle. The watercolour background show tiny shoals of white and silver fish and seaweed waving gently in the swell of the sea. The foregrounds are made up of pieces of antique sea pottery, stones and pebbles collected whilst beach-combing on our beautiful Scottish beaches in the East Neuk of Fife. (Note: these are prints of the originals and don't contain actual beach finds).

The cards are perfect for any occasion and left blank for your own message so ideal for birthday and anniversaries for beach lovers and fans of all things nautical. Measuring just over 14.8cm square, these colourful, fun prints will bring a smile to any face! The cards are wrapped in a biodegradable clear wrap with a white envelope. Stock up for last-minute birthdays, the cards are also big enough to use as notecards for writing longer messages.

These fragments of patterned pottery and china gather between the rocks and pebbles at low tide. Many of these pieces originate from the 1800’s and 1900’s, sometimes dating back to the Victorian and Regency eras when the nearby town of Kirkcaldy was at the heart of the Scottish pottery industry. Despite being tumbled and smoothed by the Scottish waves for so long, the patterns and colours remain wonderfully vibrant and the transformative power of the sea ensures each fragment is entirely unique.
