The mantel can support 50lbs+ when installed correctly. For best results, it is best to mount into studs, we also provide plastic plugs for brick, stone and tile..

Absolutely LOVE this mantel. Communication was terrific (very prompt!) as was delivery time. We discussed the best stain so we could hit the tone of our white oak cabinetry - settling on "Pickled Oak" to give it a softer slightly white look. Installation was easy (solid and stable) and the finished look is exactly what we wanted!
