Why does print technology matter? Previous technologies used solvent and eco-solvent, both of which contained chemicals with high levels of volatile organic compounds that destroyed wallpaper panels in a very short period of time. As HP Latex printing technology improved, it was able to eliminate the use of harsh chemicals and reduce material shrinkage. Today, our wallpaper production uses HP Latex inks that are water-based and chemical-free. Most importantly, this printing technology provides higher color quality, long-term color consistency and scratch resistance.

I ordered 2 samples of the Peel and Stick vinyl wallpaper. I selected light and dark variations of the same print. The colors are accurate and the quality of the print is sharp; I love the pattern. The samples included the original scale of the pattern as well as a reduced scale which allowed me to see all the colors and the full pattern. The vinyl is substantial with a slight texture. Since I only ordered samples, I can't comment on the stickiness and how long the vinyl will adhere to the wall. Many reviewers complained that the wallpaper did not adhere. For that reason, I plan to order traditional vinyl and paste it myself.
