We have all heard of Spring fever, and so far… I cannot say that it doesn’t exist. I think we all find that the freshness & hope of life returning, a beautiful sight and feeling.
Each Spring Equinox, the Sun starts to gain power over the sky once again. It provides a soft warmth at first, slowly encouraging new growth after a cold winter. Pastels in early spring flowers & small buds start to appear, all while the morning sunrise reminds us that no matter how dark times have been… the light will always return with new hope. In essence, Mother Nature is awakening.
We can apply this basic concept to our own life & spiritual journey. There are times to set our eyes on the morning horizon…. and remind ourselves that we have the chance at a new beginning. And with each sunrise during the Spring, we can focus on the present to bring great changes into our lives.
Each morning, try to take a few minutes to burn a candle & face the Eastern sunrise. Let it awaken your desire & determination to change, start over & grow… to renew and refresh your outlook & spiritual journey.
