Simplicity #4858, circa early 1950’s (no copyright given but the envelope style/logo/original price indicate early rather than later in the decade). This is an AUTHENTIC VINTAGE pattern for Misses' One-Yard Aprons and Matching Mitts & potholders. Please note this is NOT the modern reproduction issued by Simplicity. One-Yard aprons are One Size.

"Simple-to Make apron has tie ends gathered to fit waistband. Tie ends are tied in a bow in vack. View 1 has contrasting patch pocket and mitt potholders trimmed with vias fold tape. One row of rick rack details apron. Two patch pockets, each of a different color, are outlined with rick rack in View 2. View 3 is interestingly trimmed with braid. Ribbon and bow trim is featured in View 4.

This darling pattern has been carefully checked and is verified complete with all the pieces and instruction sheet! The tissue has been neatly cut and is in excellent condition. The apron skirt piece has a bit of yellowing but is not brittle. The oven mitt piece remains uncut.

Instruction sheet has some yellowing (somewhat darker than it appears in the photos) but is otherwise in very good shape.

The envelope, as you can see in the photos, has some rips and is yellowed (again, it appears a bit lighter in the photos despite my best efforts--I wouldn't want you to be disappointed if you purchase the pattern and it's more yellowed than you anticipated) and I think a bit brittle. Flap is still intact; illustration still lovely and bright. Handle with care and all will be well! Stored carefully in a protective plastic sleeve.
