Featuring 2 or 3 custom maps of locations special to you both, reproduced onto silk. Popular choices include the first date location, the engagement spot, wedding or honeymoon destination or home town. My modern map style* has brightly coloured features over a neutral background. Rural locations feature a patchwork of green and soft grey tones whilst urban areas are highly detailed in shades of grey, with individual buildings, parks, and waterbodies highlighted. Maps are available worldwide and locations can be shown at country, regional, settlement or local scale.

CUSTOMISATION: You can customise your silk map frame by changing the map shape and border style (select in the dropdown menu), map colouring and location marker type (please provide details in 'add personalisation', e.g. natural colour, watercolour heart).

KEY FEATURES:
- Your design is printed onto 100% natural, pure silk. It has a beautiful lustrous sheen when it catches the light and makes for a very special gift indeed. The translucent silk is carefully bonded to a fine paper backing to provide stability to the print.
-Framing is included as standard. All frames are solid wood. Choose from 8 profiles/finishes (see listing images for details).

HOW TO ORDER:
1. Select your map shape and border style (style) and framing option (finish) from the dropdown menus.
2. Use ‘add personalisation’ to confirm the locations to be featured and any other design requests e.g. location marker style, map palette, zoom level.
3. A digital proof will be sent for your approval via Etsy messages, usually within 3 working days. Please check your Etsy inbox to avoid any delays in processing your order. If I don’t hear from you, I reserve the right to print and ship the 'first proof' design at the end of the stated turnaround time. After an order has been dispatched, any requested modifications would be subject to additional charges through my reprint service.

RUSH ORDERS & SHIPPING:
- I offer a RUSH ORDER service for all products. The service includes priority processing, plus an upgrade to 1st class shipping within the UK (there is no faster delivery method available for international orders). Please select ‘rush order’ in the shipping options at checkout.
- For orders within the UK, standard shipping is via Royal Mail 2nd Class standard. A shipping upgrade to Royal Mail 1st Class standard or 1st Class (Signed For) is available at checkout.
- Orders to USA/AUSTRALIA are shipped with tracking as standard. Elsewhere, international orders (outside the UK/USA/Australia) are shipped using Royal Mail International Standard. Please purchase a shipping upgrade if tracking is required.
- Delivery timescales will vary according to location. Etsy's 'ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE' is a guideline, not a guarantee, and reflects my current stated turnaround/processing time plus ‘target delivery timescales’ for the shipping service selected at checkout.

Silk is a very delicate material so it must be stored with care. Although I use special ink for my silk prints, please be aware that damage may occur with long-term exposure to direct sunlight or excessive moisture. For this reason, I would not recommend displaying your silk artwork in a kitchen, bathroom or other damp environment.

1. Where no details are provided at checkout (e.g. map styles, fonts), I will use the options shown on the main listing image or the default options (if applicable). Express approval is required by the customer in order to change map styles or make other changes to the design.
2. As per map-making convention, map markers and pins have the tip on the specified location and hearts and other polygon shapes are placed with their centre point over the place to be marked.
3. A design fee may be charged where significant editing is requested by a customer, e.g. switching map styles after ordering. Where applicable, the fee will be 30% of the price of an unframed print in the size purchased.

For many of my personalised prints, I provide a digital proof for approval. A first proof is normally sent within 3 working days* (please allow up to 7 days during busy shopping periods). Please check your Etsy inbox (including junk and spam folders) to avoid any delays in processing your order.

If I am unable to reach you within a reasonable timeframe, I reserve the right to print and ship the 'first proof' design at the end of the stated turnaround time. After an order has been dispatched, any requested modifications would be subject to additional charges through my reprint service.
