All Merci Maman products are custom made and personalized.

Each piece of jewellery is engravable with your own choice of words. Simply enter your desired engraving in the "Add an optional note to the seller" box once you have added the product to your cart.

Each bracelet can be made on a number of different braid colours and each necklace can be customised by choosing the chain length (45cm / 18", 60cm / 24" or 80 cm / 30").
Finally, you can add or exchange most charms on our charm necklaces and bracelets with other charm shapes or metals.

If an option is not available on the product page or you have special requests and wishes, please write us a message and we will create a custom order for you.

We usually process jewellery orders placed on weekdays before 1 pm UK time on that same day. During busy periods it might be engraved and assembled on the next business day.

If you have an urgent order, please message us and we will do our best to dispatch it as soon as possible.

We process each order on the same or next business day to ensure that you receive your order as soon as possible.

Once the parcel leaves our office, shipping lead times are as follows:

UK Delivery: 1st Class delivery by Royal Mail: 1-3 working days

Europe & Rest of the World Delivery: Standard delivery: 5-10 working days

All Merci Maman jewellery will be sent to you in one of our signature orange gift boxes, to make the gift giving experience just that bit more special.

The inside of each box includes a soft velvet cushion designed to protect your jewellery during its delivery journey from our workshop to you, and then for you to store your jewellery safely when it is not being worn.

Sterling Silver (925)

Sterling Silver is a precious metal that will naturally tarnish over time. This darkening of the metal is not related to its quality, it is a natural reaction of the metal to the oxygen in the air that can be removed by cleaning your jewellery. To slow down the tarnishing, we recommend that your jewellery is stored in a container (ideally a lined box or soft pouch) and away from direct sunlight. To remove the tarnished layer we suggest that you polish your jewellery with a soft cloth periodically.

Gold and Rose Gold Plate (18K)

All of our charms and chains are made from high quality 18 Karat gold plate. Gold plate may tarnish over time but the darkening of the metal is not related to its quality. It is a natural reaction of the metal to the oxygen in the air that can be removed by cleaning your jewellery. We recommend you to treat your jewellery with utmost care and attention. We advice you to remove your jewellery before going to bed, showering, doing housework or swimming and keep it in a jewellery box; avoid direct exposure to some chemical (solvent, hair spray, perfumes…) and high temperatures. We suggest that you polish your jewellery with a soft cloth periodically.

Braids

Our bracelets and necklaces are made using durable and colorfast polyester braids.
Bracelets with braid can be worn at all times, however wearing them in the shower and regular contact with water may substantially reduce their lifespan.
In order to lengthen your bracelets lifespan, we would recommend that you remove it before showering, swimming and generally avoid contact with water.
We do offer a Restring Service in the event that your braid has become worn – or even if you just fancy a change of colour. Please contact us for more information.
