Pot #1 - darker blue graphics; has original label on back "170g 6 oz"; maker's mark on the bottom; very good vintage condition; no cracks or chips; very minor crazing on the lid; size: 3 inches tall (without lid) or 3 1/2 inches tall (with lid) ($55CDN)

Pot #2 - lighter blue and with more fine graphics; this pot is the older of the two; maker's mark on the bottom; good vintage condition; no cracks or chips; there is crazing; age discolouration on lid and in one mark on the side (see images); size: 3 inches tall (without lid) or 3 1/2 inches tall (with lid) (SOLD!)

All of the items listed on Peony Cottage are pre-owned and either vintage (made between 20 to 99 years ago) OR antique, which are 100 years of age and older. Given their age and the fact that all of our items have been pre-owned, some may have "flaws". We provide detailed descriptions of every piece including history, condition, size and information on the designers/makers. We encourage you to take the time to read the full listings and view the 9 or 10 photos posted for each. Questions are always welcome and we're happy to provide more photographs directly to interested parties.

If an order is taking several weeks over the estimated delivery time, and we agree that the item is most probably lost in the mail, Peony Cottage will refund (through Etsy) the purchase price of the item.

We do NOT refund the shipping costs as shipping is beyond our control.

If, on the very rare occasion, we have a duplicate of the vintage or antique piece purchased, we will give the customer the option of receiving the replacement instead. Peony Cottage will cover the shipping cost using the same method selected by the customer originally. If the replacement does not arrive at the customer's address, no further compensation will be offered and the customer can independently contact their local delivery service to pursue the issue.

If you select "gift" as an option, I will not include a invoice/receipt when shipping the item however, if you live outside of Canada, I will have to declare the contents and their value on the customs forms which will be visible to the recipient.

I do not offer free gift wrapping as part of my services but all orders are wrapped in white tissue paper with a ribbon.

If an order arrives broken, Peony Cottage will determine any possible or partial refund (through Etsy) on a case-by-case basis.

We do NOT refund the shipping costs.

Depending on the level of shipping the customer has selected and if it includes insurance, the customer might be required to submit a claim through their postal service OR provide information to Peony Cottage and/or Canada Post about the breakage for possible refunding of costs through insurance.

We will offer what assistance we can but the customer may need to complete some forms on their own and manage the situation directly with their own local postal/shipping service.

We do offer combined shipping. How it works is this. When ordering multiple items from a single vendor, Etsy will automatically charge shipping to the customer on each individual item. However, since we will combine your order into one shipment, this usually results in some savings. Once the item ships, and if the cost is $4.00CDN or more different (and in the customer's favour) than what was charged by Etsy, a shipping overage refund will be issued by Etsy for that difference.

It’s exactly what I wanted and thank you so so much for packing this well, as I heard it bounce off my door and onto the concrete outside my front door from the delivery person tossing it. I was so scared opening this, but was delighted that it was perfectly intact.
