This product is a baby bunny sewing pattern for sewing your very own soft animals that fit snuggly in a little leaf sleeping bag. The baby bunny has a scarf that goes with it. There are two leaf patterns included. One is perfect for a single baby bunny and one is for twin bunnies. This is to be printed off on US letter sized 8.5" x 11 inch paper from a desktop printer. The files will be available for immediate download from a link in your purchase confirmation email. Although this animal toy pattern is formatted for US letter sized, it can also be printed out on A4. Both metric and imperial measurements are included in the pattern.

This pattern that can be completed as a beginner sewer with basic skills in machine sewing and understanding of simple hand stitching skills. The printed tutorial includes detailed, clear written instructions paired with photos.

MATERIALS FOR BABY BUNNY WITH SCARF AND LEAF SLEEPING BAG:
-1/4 yard/meter or random scraps of woven fabric like cotton or linen for the leaf or leaves
-different colors and pieces of scraps of woven fabric like cotton or linen for bunny or bunnies, ear lining for bunny or bunnies, scarf, and stem of leaf.
-2 pieces of 8.5inches (21.5 cm) by 11.5 inches (29 cm) felt per leaf to use for lining (You can also use super thin quilt batting or thin fleece)
-matching thread for all fabrics
-black embroidery thread
-polyester filling for stuffed animal

TOOLS:
-sewing machine (unless sewing by hand)
-scissors
-measuring tape
-washable fabric pen
-straight edge or ruler (optional: quilter's ruler)
-embroidery needle
-iron
-(optional) serger or pinking shears

SIZE:
The finished leaves will measure approximately 10 inches (25 cm) tall. The baby bunnies are are approximately 7 inches (17.5 cm) tall including the ears. The height may vary slightly depending on the fabric and stuffing used.

SEWING MACHINE OR HAND SEWN:
-The pattern is written expecting a sewing machine to be used and and very minimal hand stitching is needed. The bottom of the bunny or bunnies and leaf will need to be handstitched closed. The face or faces can be drawn on with a permanent fabric marker instead of embroidered, if you do not want to embroider.
-If you do not wish to use a sewing machine, this bunny could also be hand sewn. Just trade out the sewing machine stitching to your favorite hand sewing stitch in the tutorial.

Use this quiet toy pattern to create the perfect soft toys for the little ones in your life. This printable plushie pattern can be used over and over again. I have made two different sets for my children. These baby bunnies in leaf sleeping bags can provide much entertainment as they take them out, play, and then snuggle them back into their beds. Taking their little plushies on 'adventures' has created hours of fun, imaginary play, and make believe. These toys are small enough to be the perfect car, airplane, or church toy.
