Instead, we opt for a short list of novel items needed for specific recipes. Breakfast is the same every day at our house, and lunches tend to be leftovers, so our "meal prep" list is typically short and concise. We include dinners (or dinner plans) for the week ahead, taking a more "macro" view rather than writing down every meal for the entire week (which we have found to be unsustainable).
