US Letter Pieces: Print and assemble at home for 8.5" x 11" (or A4) paper.

Download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC software for reliably viewing and printing PDF documents. Do not use Mac Preview, your internet browser or the version of the Adobe reader that comes with the Windows 10 update. Printing a PDF Pattern is like printing other documents. First open the PDF pattern and afterwards choose File and Print. The printing dialogue box opens up, make sure to set the print scale at 100% and actual size. Do NOT check “scale to fit” nor fit to page. The labels in your dialog box may vary but those are the most common options. You print on one side only as you will be cutting your pattern pieces later.
Before printing the entire pattern, print the page in your pattern with the one inch/four centimetres test square.

The first step is trimming. This will allow you to overlap the edges of the pattern pages correctly. From every page trim off the right and top margins. Remember to use different scissors for cutting paper than your sewing scissors.

Once all the pattern pages are trimmed start assembling them together. The pattern pages are numbered to help you figure out the correct order. Line up the triangular marks and all pattern lines and use either clear tape or clue stick to put the pages together, always making sure that you are lining up the edges straight. After all the pages are taped or clued together, cut out the pattern pieces.

PDF patterns are sewing patterns written in the form of an electronic document, a PDF. These instructions can be printed on standard 8.5 x 11" paper. A link to download the ebook is emailed to the address you have on file with Etsy almost immediately after the purchase is made and the payment is submitted. Adobe Reader is required to read the PDF electronic file and the pattern can be printed on 8.5” x 11 (or A4) paper. The nice thing about PDF patterns is that they are full of photos; you can save the files to your computer and re-print them anytime, and you can always email Team Lizard with questions.

This was an easy pattern to follow. I enjoyed learning how to do the extra flares and it helped me work through some skills I have been struggling with. Though I only skimmed through the first half and struggled when it came to a few things. I am used to the pattern for a normal home printer to be on seperate file, but it was actually located at the end of the tutorial. Also not all the pieces are on the pattern. i.e the rectangles for the ruffles. It is in a seperate chart where you measure and cut according to the dimensions given. Again, it was still a cute and easy pattern. I added a single snap at the waist in the back of the romper. I added a skirt over the romper shorts. I enjoyed where they tell us to finish on a serger or zigzag and honestly this is the most professional an outfit I have made looks.

Easy to print and follow, wasn’t too expensive to print at local library, product was priced comparable to an already printed pattern except the cost of printing ($12 usd) but the cost was balanced by the pattern itself, as it was super cute and an original design for my area.
