The top and bottom wooden bars are held together by magnets. Separate the two wooden bars from their respective matching bar. Place one wooden bar with the magnets facing up on a flat surface then place the top edge of your map on top of one wooden bar. Gently place the matching bar on top to sandwich your map in between. Repeat on the bottom edge.
