5 out of 5 starsWe ordered a custom up-down light and it is great, now that we finally got it up. It was originally shipped without the mounting bracket, which the seller quickly sent to us. When we tried to install it, we found that the bolts were too short to extend from the mounting bracket through the canopy, so still had to run to Ace Hardware to get parts. Installation with this slim canopy is very difficult, and I've installed a lot of lights. Be prepared! The design of the thin canopy makes it very unforgiving if your ceiling mounting box is not flush, or if the ceiling is wavy at all. I do wish that a more utilitarian canopy was offered that would cover the entire ceiling box. The white circle camouflages it as well as it can, but it will always be visible.

Danny, we are stoked the fixtured is installed and looks beautiful in your space! The installation guide helps clear up the step by step process to accomplish the install. I apologize these somehow did not make it to you. The canopy mounting is flat and designed to mount to the ceiling surface. With this though, the canopy works great with vaulted / sloped / cathedral ceilings. Ryan Alpine Lights

Beautiful fixture. Relatively straightforward to install, even despite the fact that I offset the fixture against the box in my ceiling. Included all of the necessary hardware (although the bracket screws were too short - not a big deal, just necessitated a quick trip to the hardware store for an inch longer pair). Seller was quick to respond with questions, and when they forgot to include the installation manual they sent it to me by email. We purchased the extra bright LEDs and were glad we did - they are extremely bright, and with the dimmer on our wall can be adjusted for the mood we intend. We will likely purchase another fixture from this seller in the future.

Ryan and team are top notch, the quality of the fixture is far and above anything you can find in a lighting store. From the prompt communication to install instructions, I have no regrets. Just need more fixtures to install more of his team's work!
