The smallest grill in the 800 series line is now a thing! Requested multiple times, by customers looking for a smaller 8” grill without the loss of coal depth. Just like the larger models, it will prove to handle tremendous heat, use and abuse, and still deliver years of enjoyable use.

Handcrafted of heavy welded steel, this grill shares the same indestructible qualities of the rest of the 800 series grills, constructed of fully welded carbon steel, and it weighs about 32 pounds. Plenty of steel mass to absorb and hold heat for hours.
The carbon steel grilling surface is 8” x 12”, just enough to sear and cook two NY strip steaks, or multiple vegetables, even fish fillets, two to three kabobs, and more. The round grill bars are set very close to support even the most fragile item you intend on grilling. Bars this close help you not lose anything between the coals, and are thick enough to sustain cooking heat throughout your grilling process. As a standard replaceable kotaigrill part, a single removable steel ash grate rests at the bottom, allowing critical airflow beneath your coals. Heavy stainless steel endplate handles are standard for this grill, provided for the ease of portability.
The models 824 and 836 have proven to be favorites among several professional chefs for their outstanding quality, durability, ability to retain and withstand continuous high heat, and its ease of use. The 812 shares the same characteristics and core design, but with only a single 812 top, while being even more compact, and at a comfortable cost.

As one may notice, from the listing photos, a beautiful ripe red cherry tomato has been included for some minimal aesthetic, scale, and mild amusement. Unfortunately, the cherry tomato is not included when you order this grill.
