Highlights
This is a collectable restored and working Emerson 559A portable tube radio from 1947. It has a brown plastic case with faux alligator impression on the front and back.
I personally restored it cosmetically and electronically. All paper and electrolytic capacitors were replaced. All tubes and resistors were checked and replaced if out of specifications. The failed output transformer was replaced with a new bogen transformer. The power plug was replaced with a new polarized one.
The case is very nice with no cracks. There is very slight damage that you would expect from almost 76 years of use and storage. Please look at all pictures to verify cosmetic condition.

This radio operates on either 120V house current or batteries. The 67.5V VS 050 battery is obsolete and are not included. Reproductions are available on EBAY and other sources. I include parts that I replaced and technical documentation.
