The planter's sides are made of sections of decking and sit on feet to help protect the planter and ensure they sit level. The inside of the planter is lined with heavy-duty plastic lining to help protect the inside of the planter. The planter will require no assembly and will be able to be used right away. As the planter is raised off the ground this helps to limit some of the potential weeds/pests that may affect your flowers and vegetables. The planters are built using quality wood and fixings ensuring that they are strong and durable in the British weather. When empty the planter is easily moveable so installation should not be a problem.

The timber decking, we use is FSC certified and tantalised. This means that all of the timber used is sourced from sustainable sources and is weatherproofed, making it suitable for this application. The boards have a thickness of 32mm, making it thicker than regularly available timber from DIY stores. The height of the boards is 120mm, which means each planter will be within a measurement of 120mm in height. This measurement does not include the feet we add to the planter. The feet of the planter are made of 2x2 inch timber making the feet very sturdy and supporting the weight of the planter. The same timber is used on the inside of the planter to act as a supporting post to help brace the planter in use. The planter comes pre-lined with a heavy-duty plastic lining with drainage holes in the bottom.
