Live Edge Four Poster Bed, Hand Carved English Oak, Organic Wood Bed

Item highlights

  • Materials: Solid English Oak, Holly, Lime

Seller's description

Fairy Tale four poster bed made from Pippy English Oak, Holly and Lime. The naturalistic feel of this bed is due to the inherent flaws and characteristics of the wood and the absence of straight lines normally associated with conventional furniture. Carved Wood Design specializes in free flowing designs completely free of straight lines and corners, just like nature. The bedroom is an ideal situation for free flowing bespoke naturalistic furniture design. Wardrobes, dressing tables and bedside cabinets can be made in the same free flowing way. The four holly posts are dead trees from my own woodland. Dead trees are amazing, full of character and natural flaws. The flowers on the tops of the posts are hand carved from lime wood. The construction is second to none, with traditional mortice and tenon joints.
