Antique Egyptian Silver Figural Bangle Bracelet // Wonderful Design // Hallmarked Silver for 1923-1924

⫸DESCRIPTION & CONDITION⫷

This beautiful bangle is perfect to wear on it's own or as part of a bracelet stack. It's crafted of silver and has little faces imprinted within the diamond shapes all around. And inside the bracelet is a wonderful scroll design. But my favorite part of this are the hallmarks, which are luckily impressed on the outside. They are full Egyptian hallmarks: the first denotes the origin city of Keneh and silver fineness of .600 (sterling silver is .925; Egyptian silver items are typically .900, .800 or .600. This is NOT silverplate, but solid silver); the second is cat facing left, denoting that it's silver; the third is a date letter "y" denoting it is from 1923-1924. I love any hallmark that manages to incorporate a cat into it! This is a smaller size bangle bracelet, and it's important to know your knuckle size in order to determine whether this will fit or not (please see more in measurements below).

This bracelet is in nice ANTIQUE condition. The silver shows typical wear/marks/scratches due to age & use.

⫸MEASUREMENTS⫷

This measures about 2 3/8 inches across (it's not quite a perfect circle).
The width is 1/2 inch.
Using a soft tape measure, the interior circumference measures 7 inches. BUT your knuckle measurement is what you need to check here. I have a 6 inch wrist but my knuckles are too large (8 inches), so this would NOT go on. This is shown in pictures on my daughter's 5.5 inch wrist...her knuckle measurement is 7 3/4 inches...so that is the MAX measurement your knuckles can be in order for this to fit.
