I am the artist of these pieces, however the products I have for sale here are not the originals, they are all prints.

How are the art prints shipped?

Almost all of the prints I ship flat in rigid cardboard envelopes. The only exception is the 20 x 20 inch prints, which I ship rolled up in sturdy cardboard tubes.

My art is available wholesale on Faire.com. Please use this link: faire.com/direct/heartoftheeartharts

Highlights

Materials: vinyl waterproof stickers, watercolor painting
Width: 4 inches

Height: 4 inches

These are 4 inch vinyl waterproof stickers (perfect for water bottles, laptops, etc.) of my original art, a Medicine Wheel mandala honoring the four directions (north, south, east and west), the four alchemical elements (earth, fire, air, and water), the phases of the moon, and the duality of darkness and light (yin and yang, night and day).

Everything in this piece is positioned in alignment with what it corresponds to. So, the morning is aligned with the Eastern direction of the rising sun, the element of air, and the waxing moon: a time of new beginnings, increasing fertility and active, creative (yang) energy. The South, where the sun is highest in the sky, aligns with the element of fire, and the full moon: the time when active, creative energy and light reach their peak. The sun then sets in the West, aligned with the element of water, and the waning moon: a time for going with the flow, allowing for release, receptivity, and a reorientation towards reflection and rest. Finally, the Northern direction corresponds to night time, the new moon, and the element of earth - the dark, fertile soil into which all things return, and from which all new life springs: a time for stillness and dreams, and a surrender into dormancy or decomposition, as one cycle has ended and the next has yet to begin.

The original image was hand-painted (by me, Cat) with watercolors, at my home in the river valley of Western Massachusetts, on indigenous Pocumtuck land.
