PATTERN NOTES:
This pattern is offered in sizes XS/S and M/L. The stitch count for size M/L will be listed in brackets (-). If you find yourself in between size S and M, I would advice using the lower size range. You can also make a size test after completing round 1: If you can not pull this circle over your hips, switch to the higher size range. If you are following the stitch count for size range XS/S and struggle to pull this circle over your hips, double check your gauge and change to a bigger crochet hook size if necessary. The sizes are based on the “woman size charts” from The Craft Yarn Council, www.craftyarncouncil.com

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Crochet hook: 3 mm (US size range D-3)
Yarn: 2 skeins (50 grams/approx. 180 metres per skein) for a size XS/S, 3 skeins for a size M/L. I used “Mandarin Petit” from the Norwegian brand “Sandnes Garn” for this design, in colour blue 5844, 180 metres per 50 grams. However, any cotton yarn suitable for a 3 mm crochet hook works well for this pattern, depending on the availability where you live.
Beads: 660 seed beads (also known as rocailles), hole diameter approx 1 mm. I used beads in the colour silver for this design. Whatever colour you choose, the bigger the colour contrast between your yarn and your beads the better the visual effect.
Elastic cord: long enough to fit around your waist + a few cm extra for tying it together.
Scissors, darning needle and a sewing needle for adding beads to your strand of yarn.
