Septarian is a blend of yellow Calcite, brown Aragonite, and Limestone. Sometimes called Dragon Eggs, these minerals were formed due to undersea volcanic eruptions that happed during the Cretaceous Period. The eruptions caused tiny marine to die off and be compressed into clay, the clay then formed into nodules that hardened and cracked over time, creating the stone we know and treasure today. The best quality on the available market, these Madagascar Septarian specimens' glow with the contrast of deep browns and sandy tan tones. These Septarian stones are polished to a high sheen and have a dense weight in hand. Each specimen measures approximately 1.25 inches in length.
