May I see a proof of my order before it is printed?

Yes, if it is requested at the time your order is placed I am happy to provide a proof! Your proof will be sent as soon as possible after your order is received. Proofs will need to be approved before your order can be printed and shipped. Proofs will have the Chickadee Cottage logo watermark (final products will not). All proofs will be sent through the Etsy message system.

What is your current turn around time (processing time)?

All products: 3-5 business days (Monday - Friday, excluding weekends & holidays) *Please note: processing time does not include shipping time.

How do I add my personalization?

Enter your information in the personalization field before adding the item to your cart. If there is no personalization field on your screen, simply type your information in the "Add a note to ChickadeeCottageCo" field at check out. Each listing states what information you will need to include with your order. If the design shows all uppercase or all lowercase printing, it will be printed as shown in the photos. This is true for any specialty printing that is outside the norm for capitalization, punctuation, etc.

My order was marked as delivered, but it is not here. Can you refund or replace the item (s)?

While I do my best to ensure timely delivery, Chickadee Cottage is not responsible for shipping delays by the USPS. Various factors, including high order volume, weather issues, staffing shortages, and peak holiday season demand, can impact delivery times. I commit to shipping all orders on time (on or before the "ship by date") but cannot guarantee specific arrival dates. If your order experiences a delay due to USPS issues, please understand that I am unable to replace or refund your order. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns

Is your logo printed on the products?

Yes, my logo is printed in small, grey type on the back of all products. If you would like the logo left off, just send a message at the time of purchase, and I will be happy to accommodate your request. If the message is sent after your order has been printed, you will need to pay a reprint fee to have your items reprinted without the logo.

I've already submitted my order, but I need to make a change. Is this possible?

If your order has already been printed, you will be required to pay a reprint fee for the product to be printed again. If your order has not been printed, a change can easily be made at no cost to you.

When will my order ship?

Your order will ship within the current processing time (3-5 business days, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). If you have requested something different than what is shown on the listing photos or if I have a question about your order, I may send proofs for your approval before printing. If this is the case, I won't be able to print/ship your order until I hear back from you, which can delay the processing and shipping of your order.

Can you call me to discuss my order details or if you have questions about my order?

All order details and questions about your order will need to be discussed via Etsy messages and/or email so that we have a written record of your order details as well as any changes made. Therefore, I am not able to contact customers by phone.

My order has already shipped and I just realized it's going to the wrong address. What can be done?

All orders will be shipped to the address submitted with your order. If your order is "returned to sender", you will be required to pay for the shipping fee to re-ship your order, even if you qualified for free shipping with the initial order.

My order arrived later than needed. May I receive a refund?

I understand how frustrating delays can be, I’m unable to offer refunds for orders that arrive later than expected. All delivery dates shown on the listing and at checkout are estimated timeframes provided by the shipping carrier, not guaranteed delivery dates. Once a package is in transit, its arrival time is outside of my control.

Envelopes in this listing are standard A7 size (5 1/4" x 7 1/4"), designed to fit 5" x 7" cards.

Because envelopes are produced by different paper mills and manufacturers,
minor variations in finished dimensions may occur due to normal industry manufacturing tolerances.
Standard tolerances are approximately ±1/16" (0.0625") ,
though variations up to ±1/8" may occur and are still considered acceptable within the stationery industry.

When ordering multiple colors, envelopes from different manufacturers may vary slightly in finished size.
These differences are normal within the stationery industry and do not affect functionality,
but may be noticeable when envelopes are displayed side-by-side (such as envelope walls or seating displays).

Returns, refunds, or exchanges cannot be accepted due to normal manufacturing size tolerances.
