How do I care for my sink?

We recommend that you regularly clean natural stone with a mild dish detergent or a non-toxic, clear water-based cleaner specifically formulated for stone. Wipe dry with a soft cloth after each use. Do not allow mineral deposits such as iron, salt, lime, or soap to build up on the surface. Refrain from using acidic household cleaners (e.g. vinegar, lemon juice), any cleaner with color/dye, wipes with harsh chemicals, or abrasive materials, as these can damage or discolor the stone. Crystal Simple Green and most non-abrasive CLEAR household cleaners are good options for regular maintenance, applied with a microfiber or Chamois cloth.

What if my order arrives damaged?

All packages are fully insured. Damage of any item must be reported with 24 hours of delivery, with pictures of both the item and the packaging provided. DO NOT THROW ANY OF THIS AWAY. Sinks: Refunds/replacements for damaged sinks generally take 5-10 business days after a damage claim has been initiated and we have confirmation that our shipping provider has all needed evidence to complete a claim. We will do all we can to expedite this process. Stone Decor: Replacements and refunds are processed after photos of the item and packaging are provided within 24 hours demonstrating the damage. Felipe & Grace reserves the right to require the damaged item(s) be returned or destroyed prior to replacement/refund.

My package is marked as delivered, but I can't find it. What do I do?

Per Etsy policies, Felipe & Grace is not responsible for stolen or lost packages after the package has been delivered. If this is your situation, the following steps may be helpful: 1) Check with neighbors to see if the package arrived at the wrong address. 2) Wait 24 hours to see if it comes. Sometimes carriers prematurely mark a package as delivered. 3) File a report with the police and post office/FedEX, or you homeowners/renters insurance policy for a claim. You may also confirm GPS coordinates with the carrier. 4) Contact Etsy Customer service at (844) 935-3879

Is there any additional information about a Natural Stone Sink that I should know?

Each sink is a literal hewn stone. There are natural variations in each sink. Your sink was tested prior to shipment to ensure waterfastness and proper drainage with and open grid drain (1 -5/8"). Larger drains have been used by our clients with success, however, these can impede water flow if installed improperly. Each sink can be modified with a diamond bit to smooth or widen the drain gradient as needed.

What is the difference between Epoxy coated and raw hewn stone?

All of our sinks are raw hewn stone and tested for impermeability prior to shipment. Matte or Gloss Epoxy Coating service fully waterproofs the inner bowl of our sinks. All stone has a natural porosity, and epoxy prevents hard water staining as well as fully seals the sink. You will not need to use any additional stone treatments to maintain your sink over a lifetime.

What is your return policy for Sinks?

We will gladly return our products in original condition within our posted timeframes. Epoxy coated and Sealed Stone sink service costs are nonrefundable. There is a 10% restocking fee for ALL sinks to cover initial shipping and handling charges.
