Martingale dog collar for sighthounds, made from water-repellent fabric with a solid color design – SEPIA.

Martingale collar is designed to provide safety and comfort for dogs that can easily slip out of traditional collars, such as sighthounds. It consists of two loops: an adjustable loop that fits around the dog's neck, and a control loop that tightens when the dog pulls, preventing the collar from slipping over the head without causing choking. Wider martingales distribute pressure more evenly, reducing the risk of injury and discomfort of dogs with long and sensitive necks. Galgina's martingale collars are available in various designs, allowing you to choose stylish gear that complements your dog's appearance and personality.

The decorative side of the collar is made of an impregnated polyester fabric in beige/light brown color. This fabric is water-repellent (not 100 % waterproof), wicks away water, does not get soggy, and dries faster than other fabrics. Collars are lined with polyester fabric that has no shine.

Collars are smooth, medium-thick, and a bit rigid, but size adjusting is easy. They are suitable for moderate to everyday wear. The water repellency of the decorative fabric decreases with the washing.

Each collar is handmade and carefully designed from quality non-animal origin materials. For the most beautiful look and comfort, a strong nylon webbing is always hidden in the core of the collar. Metal fittings are silver-colored (nickel finish – not stainless), D-rings are welded for maximum safety. Each collar is finished with a genuine Galgina label.

Common for Italian greyhounds.

Common for large Italian greyhounds, Whippets, small Galgos.

Common for Galgos, Greyhounds, and other large sighthounds.

Size is described as an adjustment range, given from the minimum to the maximum size that can be set on a collar while the control loop is "wide open".

To choose the right size, always measure your dog's neck in the middle and head just in front of the ears. Both measurements should fit into the adjustment range of one size, ideally not on one or the other edge. Keep in mind you'll need some space to slide the collar on and off over the head.

Along with listed sizes, we give some general idea of neck sizes (measured in the middle of the neck) that we think fit best in a particular size. These guidelines are based on sighthounds, whose head is only slightly larger than their neck, aiming for a close-fitting collar sitting in the middle of the neck. Consider this info as guidelines only and not as strict rules, if you prefer or need a different fit, please choose accordingly.

• XS: 19 - 27 cm (7.5 - 10.75")
Usually best fit for neck sizes 20 - 23 cm (8 - 9") - Italian greyhound

• XS1: 23 - 31 cm (9 - 12.25")
Usually best fit for neck sizes 24 - 26 cm (9.5 - 10.25") - Italian greyhound, small Whippet.

• S: 26 - 34 cm (10.25 - 13.25")
Usually best fit for neck sizes 27 - 29 cm (10.75 - 11.5") - big Italian greyhound, average Whippet.

• S1: 28 - 38 cm (11 - 15")
Usually best fit for neck sizes 30 - 32 cm (12 - 12.75") - big Whippet, small Galgo, Saluki.

• M: 30 - 42 cm (12 - 16.5")
Usually best fit for neck sizes 33 - 36 cm (13 - 14.25") - big Whippet, average Galgo, Saluki, small Greyhound.
