Dupioni silk is a beautiful, lustrous fabric that adds a touch of luxury to any project. We sell pure silk products only, in many different colors. Shipping is free for orders of $35 and more within the US. Your order will ship within 1-3 business days by First class US Mail. Item is shipped in 1 yd and 1/2 yd increments only. For yardage please contact us before placing your order and we will try to accommodate your request.
The color of the Fabric can look different on the screen. We offer Pantone color identification for this item (19-5708TCX JET SET) to minimize discrepancy. We cannot guarantee perfect color matching for subsequent orders, as these fabrics are hand-dyed and variation between batches exists.

Silk is a natural fiber that is spun by silkworms and is then woven into fabric by experienced artisans. These artisans, from INDIA, have a rich background in the cultural and traditional art of silk weaving, many have perfected this art over generations. This gift from nature is used in many religious ceremonies all over the world, including wedding dresses, suits, upholstery, quilting, embroidery, and bag making among many other crafts. Most of our products are certified by the Silk Board of INDIA with a Silk Mark Certification, so you can be assured you are purchasing pure 100% silk. GUIDELINES FOR FABRIC CARE (DUPIONI SILK)
• Silk is vulnerable to sun rot and fading. Keep your finished project out of direct sunlight.
• Silk requires a low heat setting and can be damaged if pressed at too high a temperature. Fabric should be pressed from the back and always tested on a small area first, to establish optimum heat setting.
• It should be Dry Cleaned only, DO NOT WASH to preserve its luster.
• It is a soft textile prone to fraying, a lightweight fusible interfacing can help reduce that. Interfacing should be applied with a medium heat setting before the fabric is cut. Use a press cloth and a light water spray, Blotting motion with the iron works best, avoid sliding the iron on the fabric.
• Silk is a fine fiber with low density or loft. By nature, it tends to slide when sewn. Use a shortened stitch length with a Microtex sharp 80 or 90-size needle.
