Pedro, member of Folclore Gifts team, was responsible for the concept, the design and all the handcraft techniques used to transform beautiful and natural materials into a unique design piece.

This lamp uses very special materials. The cork used is a sub-product of cork discs' production. Usually it's transformed into cork grains and used to make granulated cork products. This is a very original and unique way of using it.

CORK: through a sustainable harvesting process that allows for bark extraction without harming cork-oak trees and a regrowth cycle of nine years, cork becomes a renewable resource with a history dating back thousands of years. Join us in supporting this tradition while using cork creatively, and our forests thank you. Cork is eco-friendly, 100% natural, renewable, recyclable and biodegradable.

COTTON PAPER: produced by a Portuguese company using cotton waste from textile companies.
