Can I wear my jewellery 24/7 once made? Can I wear my jewellery swimming/Bathing? For items so precious and irreplaceable as breast milk and ashes jewellery I recommend removing all jewellery before any type of swimming, bathing/showering. Remove when washing up. Keep away from direct sunlight and avoid spraying with purfume, hairspray and contact with nail varnish remover. I highly recommend that your jewellery be stored away in a box when not being worn.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I will happily gift wrapped your item on request. Items will be wrapped in eco friendly lovely tissue paper, before enclosed in an eco friendly postal box. Breast Milk or ashes DIY kits are all sent in an eco friendly postal box, the box is then wrapped before posting. A personal message can be added to your gift box. This will be hand written in a mini art card and included with your gift. Order forms and invoices are NOT included in posted items. Post lables are not stuck direcly to the postal box, they are added once the postal box has been wrapped.

Breast Milk Questions.

How much milk is required? Can I use frozen milk? I recommend frozen breast milk up too 6 months old or less can be used for making this jewellery. The frozen milk has to be 100% thawed and room temperature / expressed temperature before making the jewellery. Ensuring that no ice partical are left in the milk before making, as it will effect the finished piece. Only 10 ml MAX is required to make the jewellery. Milk stored in the fridge for 1-3 days is fine to use for making your piece.

The resin supplied within the DIY kits is vegan friendly, non-toxic epoxy resin. Easy to use, follow instructions, mix equal parts together. Leave to set 24 - 36 hrs. Self leveling. UV lamp NOT required.

DIY Breast Milk Pendants and glass orbs. The pendants included with the kits (unless you up grade to 925 silver) are both silver plated and nickel free. The heart pendant has a attached bail and lightly textured back. Size: 24mm x 23mm depth 3mm The teardrop pendant has an attached bail and a lightly textured back. Size: 20 x 30mm depth 3mm The chains which come with the silver plate heart and teardrop pendants are silver plate and are all 18 inches long. I do not offer an alternative length. The glass orbs is 16mm round are hand made and come with (unless you upgrade to 925 silver) silver plate caps and 18 inch silver plate chains.

Additional items for the DIY kits.

Can I have two of the same pendants, instead of one of each style? Yes of course you can. Just message me when you place your order which two of the same you require. If you wish to buy an additional or duplicate pendant, glass orb, additional resin or extra milk compounds, for the DIY kits, these can all be obtained from the 'Optional Extra' section from my item menu.

Ashes Jewellery Q & As

How soon can I post you the ashes? I appreciate your desire to have your loved one close to you but please do not order an item unless you have your ashes ready to be posted within 7 days of you placing your order. How much ashes do I need for a piece? I only require 1 heaped teaspoon of your loved one per item, which is ample allowing for seperating the ashes from the dust. Any non used ashes shall be returned with your finished pieces. Once you place your order, you shall be messaged with instructions on how and where to post your loved one.
