Brass raven skull earrings

Part of the crow's symbolism relates to the ability to retain memory. Important point within many cultures who believe that this bird preserves the memory of past worlds, ancient forms of life and precious secrets. Some cultures tried to understand its language so that they could know the mysteries and wisdom that would be locked in it.

Crows are said to be the friends of death. Many myths and legends speak of their presence during wars, on the battlefields. They are considered "death eaters", a very powerful element recognized by many cultures.

The earrings were entirely made by hand in my workshop, from a quality brass plate. They represent a raven's skull welded on a piece of brass that I punched and patinated.

Different meticulous traditional jewelry techniques are required to make these unique earrings: sawing, filing, punching, grinding, brazing, burnishing.

The ear hooks are made of stainless steel. Ideal for delicate and allergy-sensitive ears.
