Highlights
The 8-BIT deck is an Anthony Valent original design, taking influence from all of the 8-BIT/pixel video games he loves and plays. The color scheme was carefully chosen based on his favorite game, and each dot was placed by hand to emulate a traditional patterned playing card back. This simple and clean design is the first of many 8-BIT designs to come, so stay tuned for more card backs that will reference more of the classics.
All Superior Print on Demand playing card decks are proudly designed and printed in our Upstate NY print shop.
Decks are printed on an embossed, 330gsm casino-grade card stock imported from Europe. The card faces are Superior POD’s proprietary design featuring a classic, traditional look. All card decks follow the same one word (or proper noun) theme in order to encapsulate what the artwork of each deck represents in the most simple way possible. This is a nod to designer Anthony Valent’s own “One Word” brand of playing card decks, who is Vice President of Superior POD. You may notice a theme of famous artwork used and interpreted into these cards, this is a call back to Anthony’s studies in college as an Art History major.
When buying these cards you are supporting a father and son run company from a small town in NY, offering big city printing to the world. Our company was founded over 15 years ago by Jeff Valent and started small, but we are now proudly at the point of printing nearly 200,000 decks of playing cards. All card decks are printed on demand as ordered, so each deck is literally hot off the presses. We always aim for perfection, and offer some of the highest quality card deck printing in the print on demand market. If there are ever any issues with your order please don’t hesitate to reach out to us so we can make sure you get the deck of cards you envisioned. We do not accept returns on our card deck product unless the shrink wrap has not been undone. If you have an unopened deck that you would like to return also please don’t hesitate to reach out!
