This is one of the series from my red flower of camellias, originally called "tsubaki" in Japanese. This work is painted on Portuguese tiles and burnt more than ten times, so that the result may get closer to the colour of real petals. The season for painting camellia is limited, from end of February to end of April because of painting the real flowers.

The work is mounted on 5mm thick perspex, by sticking with stable 3M double sided tape, and for interior display which should be kept room tempature under 35 degree celsius. Tiles can be detached from the perspex mount by request. Shipped through Japan Post EMS for U.S., U.K., Canada and EU, otherwise Yamato/UPS will cover rest of the destinations.
