Vintage from the 1940s

This is a vintage baseball uniform from West Point, Va. It looks to be a high school uniform. Made by Speedline and sold by Harris and Brenaman Sporting Goods, Richmond, Va. Jersey says size 38 on tag. Some small holes, nothing large. Some staining. See pictures. Great pinstripe on pants.

Waist on pants measures 15" across and pants are approx. 33"long from waist band to bottom.

Speedline Athletic Wear was founded in 1936 as Malzone Sports located in New Jersey.

Harris-Brenaman Inc. Athletic Supporting Goods was located at 211 North Seventh St., Richmond, Virginia. I found ads from them as early as late 1930s.
