I've finally gotten my hands on stiff black aida (not easy to find!) so I could start this. It's an intricate pattern that will take (me) a lot of paying attention and forcing myself not to work past when my eyes are tired. It's also a forgiving pattern, though, and mistake will be easy to hide/even out along the way. My only star off is two-fold: 1, because the grey/overlap area in the printed pattern makes it hard to tell which symbol is which for some spots, even with my glasses; and 2, the finished example in the printed pattern (that I reference throughout the project) has slightly more color variation. The photo online is accurate, but that's not the one I'm looking at all the time, so it was starting to throw me off a little (seeing yellow when there isn't any called for). Absolutely love it, though.
