Highlights
These mountain bike tire chains will help with winter riding conditions. This easy to add-on tire cover will improve grip on slippery surfaces like snow covered roads and icy trails. (In the video, I am riding on wet ice.). These chains go over your existing tires in minutes with a simple pliers.
They cost about half the amount of studded tires and are much beefier than those tiny studs on tires.
Currently available for 26"x4" or 27.5"x4" wheels. Message me if you have different tire needs and I can give you a quote.
The tite chains need space of at least one inch of clearance between your wheels and all parts of the frame so that chain contact with the frame is avoided.
Each wheel's set of chains is hand built to order according to the size of your wheel. Each chain set weighs about 24 ounces.
Skidding and concrete riding can wear through the metal and break the chains. (They do not create sparks, I tried!). The set that I am using is three years old and counting!
Item is sold in pairs. You will receive enough for one bicycle with each order.

Take your money and buy Bakcou tire studs, these are are absolute not worth the money. I ride 500 miles year on ice and snow and these are a pain to install and garbage if they hit a snag and completely fail.

Tire chains can definitely be a trade-off between studs, and they won’t be the right solution for everyone or every riding condition. For context, I have been personally using my own set for four seasons now, but riding style, terrain and conditions can make a difference. We’re always happy to help people decide if chains or studs are a better fit for their needs before purchasing.
I am happy with the product and it is as described. Unfortunately, it is turning out to not be the best (which was to be expected due to the description) for what I was going to use it for. There is nothing against the seller or product. I think it is a great item/idea. I wish the links were slightly different as they come undone with rougher use. To put things into perspective, I have been commuting via fat tire utility ebike, and my commute is about 12 miles one way in rural Michigan. It is mostly paved road riding but I was hoping the ice and snow would make up for the amount of road I was riding on (I know, I know...) Anyways, I am assuming that my speed, distance, and amount of pavement I was on is why these didn't work as well as I was hoping. It has been a lot of trial and error this winter.
