About Lada:
Meet Lada, a beautiful Ukrainian folk art doll dressed in a handmade Hutsul embroidered outfit. Each doll is carefully made by hand, using old Ukrainian traditions. Her clothing is adorned with special Hutsul embroidery, renowned for its bright colours and intricate patterns. This doll is a real piece of Ukrainian culture, perfect as a gift, a keepsake, or unique decor. Every detail, from her outfit to the way she is made, reflects true care and craftsmanship.

Before starting to make this doll, I was researching the Hutsul clothes, which are unique and very vibrant, and applied them to this doll: leather shoes "postoly", a unique headpiece. I also wanted to make a special " keptar " - a traditional Hutsul region vest made of sheep skin.
The cross-stitched embroidery is made in red and black colours - traditional colors in Ukraine. The traditional headpiece is hand-decorated with a matching blue and yellow ribbon.
