Item shipped on time and was of great quality. I purchased the shelf unstained so that I could stain it myself to a dark espresso color. It took me a couple of months to get the staining all done (just trying to find time between work and other things to get it done), finally hung the shelf and it looks gorgeous. Instructions were provided and they were pretty good, there was a small error with quantity of black screws listed in the steps, however the quantity provided to assemble the actual shelf was correct. Also, after the assembling steps, there were no clear instructions on HOW to hang the shelf. A scaled template was provided showing typical spacing of studs, 16 inches, therefore we deduced that we needed to create our own holes in the 4 backing plates that aligned with the center of the studs and it worked out great!
